Is it smart to buy a Honda Civic GX NGV (natural gas vehicle)?

I live in the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles). I’d like to hear from Civic NGV owners if they like their car and how long it takes them to fill up a tank at the public NG stations located around LA. I don’t have a house so getting one of those filling units is not an option but I’m still interested in getting a Civic NGV.

I have bought and sold several of those and they have there ups and downs….. Filling at a station? A few minutes…. No big deal…. You can save a lot of money….. The down side ==== DO NOT BUY A USED ONE…. I bought 10 of those from a govt agency and 4 had BAD transmissions….. Those CVT transmissions are crap. Honda had a recall on them…. They are expensive to repair so if your not buying a new one then pass on a used one. 1 of the units we picked up had 4000 miles on it and the ****** was shot! Either get a new one or a regular Civic…. Avoid the hybrids…. The only thing they do is give you that fuzzy save the planet feeling when they dont….. The hybrids take 4 or more years in gas savings to recover the difference in price……..
