But let’s be frank here. Even NGVs are NOT “green” per se. Yes, they do help reduce dependency on foreign oil, but they’re still using an unsustainable resource. Believe me, I’m ALL for NGV vehicles, but it’s not the end solution to our global warming problem.
Because, like the host says, there are lots of stations in southern California; and I’m sure many NGVs as a result. Here in Alabama there are 2 stations and not many NGVs.
If we stopped burning NG for power stations we’d have a lot more of this resource to stretch out for transportation.
the lack of gas stations that allow for refueling. Why no gas stations with natural gas? 15 dollars to fill..but how would ceos of large gas companies survive? If the govt added natural gas to all gas stations im sure more consumers would buy this car and honda and all other car industries would make more NGVs
so then with all these advantages does Honda not make 100,000 more of these cars? what is the real reason these cars (which have been on sale in usa for over 10 years) arent the number one selling type of car? WHATS HOLDING THIS BACK ???
Besides the cleaner and cheaper fuel, there is another advantage of a CNG vehicle over a gasoline or diesel vehicle that is often ignored: CNG burns much cleaner than either gasoline or diesel, which means fewer harmful deposits inside the engine, which greatly increases overall engine life and reduces maintenance costs.
Here in Oklahoma it’s only $.91 gge. My fiancee’s brother fills his up for about $4.50.
Why there are not so many gas satations? specially in FL there is none.
Let the revolution begin!
the Big[was] Detroit 3 should make one of these cars[not buses]
why are they not?
they’re letting Honda and Toyota make the lead in the latest technology[hybrids]
all Honda dealerships should have a 24/7 CNG fueling stations.
at $1.20 per gallon and up for CNG at 36MPG this makes sense
Petrol/Diesel will be $7~$12 soon and im not kidding
wanna bet you bank account on this?
Natural gas is not inexhaustible is it? What are the proven reserves? 50 years at current consumption?
NG is methane gas.

It funny poop is the solution, LOL
New sewer lines that direct the poop to the plants and keep the rain water runoff separate, then all the lakes and streams would be so much cleaner. They go to other countries to drill for it spend millions to liquefy it and transport it, its in the poop! Things that rot produce methane landfill produce methane.
Into recycling, separating the wastes diligently all the bio waste separated from recyclables. You see hydrogen is locked in and requires energy to break it loose, that’s a ramp up. Things that are breaking down are a ramping down and adding a little energy can speed that. Do you realize the costs of landfills, very little should be put to the curb, it all should be recycled. All the organic matter should go down the drain and end up in a plant that extracts energy from its decomposition.
If we were real smart we would use the compost and extracted water to feed reforestation projects. All the sewer lines could lead into the woods? A large facility that processes it to gas burned for electricity that is sent underground back to the city.
