Cars generate quite a bit more speed through the corners than bikes do.

Yeah.. bikes accelerate well but they can never match cars in handling.

But of course.. leaning with the curve and dragging the pegs is a whole lot more fun ; )

Yes, but not by much. I’d say that the car prob makes more ground on braking than anything else… but if you ever accelerated a race bike you’d know that as soon as the rider twists that throttle his gone.

Actually.. bikes are slower in the corners than cars.

At least a dozen?

The F40 driver has several thousand race laps under his belt.

He was just cruising on this vid.

after the carousel…corner gets more tricky…F40 driver surely will have problems with that :D

The Suzuki driver has driven N-Ring at least a dozen times as he has those lines down like a pro. Serious props.

The vid cuts off right at the start of the back straight where I’m thinking the the F40 finally lost him.

he only stayed ahead cos of the speed he could get on the straights, he was no good in the corners.

That poor biker… Honestly, not the best place to try and learn!! lol But a good rider would just disappear from any of those cars. Having said that, I LOVE the F40! But realistically I’d rather have the GTi! LOL

Nice video, but let’s not forget the Nurburgring is not about sheer power, but about track knowledge and driving skills.
The F40 driver lacks both!

#17 halsoyIII on 03.18.09 at 9:01 pm

What’s the power to weight ratio on that car? :P He overtook a freakin’ Porsche! :P

The Nurburgring IS a semi/racetrack, but I agree, while driving during public sessions you can’t drive as fast on it like a full racetrack where it’s safer like the GP strecke, but I still think that the Swift driver would be faster than the F40 driver if given equal cars.

#19 nomedeeps on 03.21.09 at 1:56 pm

It’s not a race track and it’s not a race. I’m sure I wouldn’t drive anymore than 80% in an F40 on a road which has so many hazards and where people do crash, do get hurt and even killed. I’m would’nt take too many risks just for for utube viewers entertainment. If you want to see faster driving go to Germany and

#21 sidewayssam on 03.26.09 at 9:13 am

#22 shred91 on 03.27.09 at 3:57 am

Amazingly good driver, I bet he would be the better driver to be in that F40 than the driver who was currently in it!

#23 Scoopy4444 on 03.29.09 at 7:00 pm

Bravo! Very nice driving… i would had let you drive my F40 : )
