The side impact kind of scared me but good to see that the frame all around stood the pressure on the head on crash test. Good job Hyundai.

yeah i think hyundai have gotten better. still not the best, but not bad.

I’m American and realize that Hyundai has gotten much better. I’d gladly drive one

#5 dude198player on 02.21.09 at 3:28 am

yeah, actually we do believe that Hyundai is a good brand. because Americans can’t process the mind change of a car brand being so bad for so long and suddenly become great.

if you are trying to say hyundai’s are the safeEST car on the market (sorry can’t tell with your shitty grammar) then you need to wake up. They are a shitty company, buy hondas and toyotas instead

Yeah Canadians are much better than Americans. They accept new knowledges better. For example we could see lots of proofs that hyundai is safe car on the market. But still stupid americans say it’s **** car made by the **** company. I’m pretty sure Canadians don’t think like that. I wondered why americans’ iq was 85 in average. lol especially you rctsos.

I’m Canadian. and proud of it.

#9 nakoalla on 03.04.09 at 5:39 pm

I’ve got an 06 Tucson. Love it. Very reliable. If you get the 4 cylinder, get the manual. If you go automatic, get the v6. I have the 4. Great little hauler.

the side impact will have a great chance of snapping your neck…..

#12 dude198player on 03.07.09 at 11:58 am

American? please don’t….

#13 bigvanilla27 on 03.08.09 at 7:47 am

I’d get the Tuscon, because it is cheaper, and its size probably makes more sense unless you constantly haul stuff around that wouldn’t fit…

#14 jpauldacs on 03.11.09 at 11:05 am

for me, HYUNDAI IS BEST!!!!

The side impact dosen’t look good to me.
I think they should start putting real bumpers in the cars like the did in the 60’s and 70’s.

the 2009 escape is a top safety pick for 2009 and im getting one in may!

#22 kanehi on 03.27.09 at 10:07 pm

I have this mini SUV and it’s great. Insurance is cheaper due to it’s safety features. Hyundai designed the engine compartment crumble zone so that the engine goes downwards and not directly into the cabin in a crash.

#23 haroldastigy on 03.28.09 at 12:33 pm

you can add some bumper to make it cool

#24 diegoloko13 on 03.31.09 at 9:46 am
